Upcoming Fortnite Competitive Tournament Schedule
FNCS: Chapter 2, Season 2, was a success, and Epic is looking to emulate that success into season 3. Casual and competitive players from Season 2 are looking towards season 3 as the focus will be on solo competition. However, the cash cups will be in the trios format. The Fortnite Competitive Twitter account also announced arena mode will be available to solo play and trios with Season 4 FNCS focusing on trios. That means the players who hate the solo format for competitive play will look forward to some team play with their friends or partners.
Of course, no Fortnite competitive play is without the ban hammer’s threat if players are caught breaking any official rules. One such example is “smurfing,” where higher-ranked players play on lower level accounts to gain a competitive edge over newer competitive players. Breaking this rule, or any rule, will result in a ban that will keep them out of next season’s competitive play. However, if all of this works out, we could be seeing more online tournaments in the future.
Let’s take a look at the upcoming Fortnite Competitive Tournament schedule.
